SCHOOL’S OUT ... IT’S TIME TO RIDE !!!!!

BRCC RIDING ACADEMY:

I want to take a moment to highlight some of our student riders for their concentration and improvement. Both Joe and Sabrina Strano have moved up to having complete control on their own while riding Winnie. GREAT JOB! Mackenzie Rattray has had a chance to experience two different style horses! This is important – did you know that at the high school and collegiate level, team competition begins with each rider getting a blind draw (picks a number) and he or she must jump on that particular horse and be judged. You must be able to adjust to the different style horses like Mackenzie is doing – TERRIFIC!!

Adam Mendleson has shown that he is a gifted athlete and a gutsy guy. He has taken his riding to a new level. In two brief lessons, Adam has improved to controlling the horse during the walk, trot and canter. Adam then directed his horse through a series of cross-rail jumps – a milestone in the life of a young rider!

BREAKING NEWS:

I am proud to introduce TERRY JARRETT as one of our new BRCC trainers. Terry has over thirty years experience in the equestrian world, including horse care, riding, showing, training and sales. He has a gifted teaching technique that is calming and creative. I know you will enjoy Terry’s style, sense of humor and professionalism.

VACATION – HORSE CLINICS – HOME COOKING:

I will be away from the BRCC while traveling the month of June to the states of Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Every year at this time I conduct three horse clinics and show-off my young horses to clients I have had for years and years. It is a chance to take a little vacation road trip with my best buddy, Parris, see the family and enjoy some Midwest home-cooking.
